Penelope absolutely KILLS it with this next book in the series. I love how the original characters of Buttons’ story are still vital characters of the storyline, and quite seamlessly I should add. This story is a rollercoaster for emotions. There’s love, hate, fear, frustration, all in this one great book. Sapphire is a mini Pearl and it’s great to see their bond unfold as the rest of the story is told. We’re left on a cliff just waiting for the next book in the series! Cannot wait to see how Conway reacts to his consequences!

Lady in Lingerie had me on edge of my seat. Just when things were going so smoothly, Penelope shakes us to the core. I binge read this book because I couldn’t put it down. I love that Pearl, Crow, and Cane are vital characters in this series. Nobody likes a sequel with a whole new set of characters. Without spoiling the book, let’s just say that new characters introduced always bring about new problems. Disappointment is evident and once harsh words are spoken they aren’t easily forgotten. Promises are made and a declaration rocks Muse’s foundation. Where do you go when you think all is lost and you have nothing? Muse and Conway make some tough choices, lets hope they come back to bite them. I can not wait for the next book. If you haven’t been keeping up, now’s the time to get onboard. Penelope never disappoints! I’ll be not so patiently waiting for the next installment. Great job and if you love edge of your seat drama, start from the beginning and treat yourself.

Conway is obviously connected with his Muse, but he won’t allow himself to admit his true feelings that he loves her. He nearly lost her once when he rescued her from the Underground and now pushing her away again. The passion and romance mixed with the suspense if the appearance of Bones Jr and Sapphire leaving will leave you begging for the next book.
